The Board of Education was treated to very special presentations that included Samuel Bissell Elementary School students from Mrs. Rohwedder’s third grade classroom. First, Mrs. Rohwedder’s students presented the unique way they learned about context clues through an “Escape Room”. During their presentation, the students engaged our Board members in answering questions so they, too, could escape!

Next, Samuel Bissell Elementary School Media Assistant Ms. Christy Shula and two (2) students from Mrs. Rohwedder’s class demonstrated the very cool way they are learning to code by using Ozobots! Our tech savvy students demonstrated the use of Ozobots while Ms. Shula explained how they worked.
