As we approach the end of another wonderful school year, I want to take a moment to thank our students, staff, families, and community for your continued support, dedication, and hard work throughout the year.
With Memorial Day weekend just ahead, I hope everyone has the opportunity to relax, reflect, and spend meaningful time with family and friends while honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Please also remember that the last day of school for all students is Thursday, May 28. We are proud of all that our students have accomplished this year and look forward to celebrating a strong finish to the school year together.

THS Seniors Demonstrate Career Readiness
Last Monday and Tuesday, seniors from Mr. Herston’s and Mr. Stroud’s classes demonstrated exactly what it means to be prepared for the future. Approximately 80 Twinsburg High School Connections students took the stage to deliver their Capstone Presentations, marking the culmination of a year spent preparing for life after graduation.
The Connections class is specifically designed to build the foundational professional skills required for the Ohio Means Jobs (OMJ) Readiness Seal. Throughout the school year, these seniors worked diligently to master these competencies. They then put their skills to the test by stepping into the professional world to shadow mentors in the careers they believed they wanted to pursue.
During the two-day event, students shared insightful reflections on what they discovered. For many, the shadowing experience was a perfect match, confirming their passion for their chosen field. For others, the experience taught them that their envisioned career was not the right fit after all. Discovering this before investing time and tuition in college or beginning a career path was an invaluable “win” for these students, helping them avoid potential future detours.
Regardless of the outcome, every student sharpened vital soft skills such as professional communication, adaptability, and problem-solving. Adding to the supportive atmosphere, parents attended to watch their seniors present.
We are exceptionally proud of our Connections seniors for their professionalism and honesty. Congratulations on a fantastic year of growth!
